The UK Health Data Research Alliance (the Alliance) focuses on shared challenges in health data research and supports the adoption of common tools, standards and approaches.
Established in 2019 by Health Data Research UK, the Alliance has provided guidance on best practice for secure data environments, aligned approaches to data access during COVID-19 and set standards for data use registers.
Since then, we have continued to grow and become proudly member-led, with members driving our focus and shaping our priorities.
The Alliance focuses on two priority areas each year. We bring organisations together through interest groups and working groups to develop approaches, drive progress and enable research that improves the lives of patients and the public.
