GOSH is a tertiary hospital and receives 237,908 outpatient visits and 43,218 inpatient visits every year (2018/19 data).

GOSH is the largest paediatric centre in the UK for intensive care, cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, childrens cancer services including bone marrow transplants, neurology and renal transplants and children treated from overseas in the International and Private Patient (IPP) wing.

GOSH covers 63 different clinical specialities which makes the hospital the UK’s widest range of specialist health services for children on one site. Specialities covered by the hospital include neurodisability, urology, imaging, audiology, haematology and oncology, cardiac surgery, NICU and PICU.
