HDR UK welcomes the Information Commissioner’s Office's (ICO) draft guidance on transparency in the health and social care sector.

A new initiative launched by Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) and funded by the Medical Research Council (MRC) will enable members of the UK Health Data Research Alliance and other custodians of health data to improve the transparency of processes for accessing health datasets for research.

Following the recent publication of the Transparency Standards, HDR UK is pleased to be offering awards of up to £15,000 to support individual data custodians with adoption of the Standards.
