The UK Health Data Research Alliance develops and co-ordinates the adoption of tools, techniques, conventions, technologies, and designs that enable the use of health data in a trustworthy and ethical way for research and innovation.
The Alliance has established five delivery sub-groups. For further details on individual sub groups, please see below.
In addition to the five sub-groups below, diversity in data is a cross-cutting theme which aligns with HDR UK’s diversity and inclusion policy. The Alliance has highlighted the need to address concerns to poor quality of data and missing samples that can hinder the reliability of scientific insights. We are now keen to bring communities together to discuss recommendations for improving completeness, consistency and representativeness of routinely collected data.
